Michelle Law received her law degree from the University of Kansas in 1994. She practiced almost six years with the Missouri State Public Defender System in Springfield, Missouri before entering private practice. While in private practice, Michelle represented clients charged with serious criminal offenses in state and federal court, and served as a Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children in juvenile court. In 2006, Michelle joined the Federal Public Defender’s office in the Western District of Missouri. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michelle worked as a consulting engineer after receiving a degree in electrical engineering from Missouri S&T in 1988.
