Federal Criminal Defense Bar CLE: Ethics and Trial Preparation (Kansas City, MO)

This program is provided courtesy of the Federal Public Defender Offices for the Westem District of Missouri and the District of Kansas. All federal criminal defense practitioners are welcome to attend. The seminar is free. Lunch will be provided to any member of the District of Kansas Bar, courtesy of the District of Kanas Bench-Bar Committee. Non-Kansas bar members will be charged $7.00 for lunch.

One hour of Ethics CLE credit has been requested for Kansas and Missouri practitioners.

Trial lawyers are ethically required to use competent methods and procedures to prepare for trial. In this program, we will discuss the methods and procedures that attorneys can use to meet their ethical obligations. (Spoiler alert: some scrawled writing on a legal pad and a vague idea of what you want to talk about isn't enough).
